There is a FIELDTRIP email discussion list. The aim of the list is to facilitate the discussion between both users and developpers of the FieldTrip toolbox, to share experiences and to discuss new ideas for MEG and EEG analysis. New releases and updates will also be announced through that list. Click here to subscribe or unsubscribe to the FIELDTRIP list. Only people that are subscribed to the discussion list will receive messages and can make posts.

If you do not want to participate on the discussion list, but still want to be informed about new updates, you can join the FIELDTRIP-NEWS list. That is a very low volume list to which only the fieldtrip maintainers can make posts. Click here to subscribe or unsubscribe to the FIELDTRIP-NEWS list.

The list rejects messages over the maximum length of 1 MB. Remember that if you send a message with an attachement, that the attachement is sent to all subscribers (i.e. your 1 MB attachement is filling up ~250MB in all inboxes of all people subscribed). Large files should preferably be sent through email directly to the person asking for the file (i.e. not to all people on the list), or you can distribute large files through a service like http://www.yousendit.com or http://www.leapfile.com and give the URL in your mail on the discussion list.

Encoding an email attachment expands it by a little more than one third. Therefore, attached files must total less than 660 KB, by a sufficient margin to allow for accompanying text, email headers, and MIME formatting.
